Synopsis

THE WITNESS Batman wants to take over the Azrael murder case and, of course, Huntress does not agree with him. Instead she announces to deliver Azrael to the cops. While Batman starts his investigation by talking to Brian Bryan and Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Jean-Paul is sitting under a bridge. Suddenly a man approaches him with a knife, so Azrael puts his mask on and hits the man very hard.   After this he visits Scratch and attacks him. Scratch gets a little afraid and warns Azrael that he is about to kill the only eyewitness of the murder. This makes Azrael stop, take his mask of and leave. Scratch is not sure if he has achieved his goal.   Azrael returns to the church where he crosses path with both Huntress and Batman. Batman explains that Jean-Paul is innocent. He obviously was drugged by Scratch when he drank tea and then Harold who is doing some repair jobs in the church saw how Scratch strangled the victim. Jean-Paul is happy that Batman believed in him and a little later he burns his original Azrael costume.   Meanwhile, two cops find a dead body under a bridge ...
